Balfe Motorsport have confirmed today that they won’t be running during tomorrow’s opening 2 rounds of the British GT Championship.
The team site electrical issues that they have not been able to solve at the track, which plagued most of their running during Saturday. The car only completed a hand full of laps during practice, then didn’t appear for Pro qualifying. There were reports of the car cutting out every time it went up Clay Hill, almost causing a few incidents. The car was also presented in a basic white livery, instead of the red that was teased pre-season.
The team will now focus their attention on solving the issues before round 2 at Snetterton next month. The rest of the GT field resume racing on Monday for 2, 1 hour races.
